We are excited to announce that we have signed up to be one of the founder agents of Boomin - the revolutionary new property portal.
If you've not heard of Boomin yet, you almost certainly will do, as it will be featured all over the TV and media beginning on Channel 4 on Friday evening at 9pm at the start of Gogglebox, and will also run the following evening on ITV during the peak-time Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
Boomin's approach is similar to Rightmove and Zoopla in some respects but revolutionary in another. It's yet another portal we will use to market on when you sell your property with Yendor Homes to achieve maximum exposure and the highest possible price.
The Boomin portal keeps everything property related in one place to make it easy for potential buyers and sellers. It even allows you to register interest and book early viewings on properties that aren’t on the market yet - If a property is being valued the agent can list some details of the home on Boomin. There won’t be enough information for homebuyers to be able to identify the exact property – hence a ‘secret property’, but details such as the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, key features and school catchment areas will be available so that buyers can register an interest should the property come to the market. In our view, this is a clever way to assess demand and registered interest that may well help the homeowner to decide to make the leap to put their home on the market.
With Boomin, once Yendor Homes have been instructed, you'll now have the ability to offer a sneak peek at the property, for a period of up to 14 days before the property is fully listed on other portals allowing Boomin users early access to the property.
Boomin will also offer 'MatchMaker buyers' and 'MatchMaker sellers' where buyers and sellers create a sort of property dating profile. Homebuyers who know where they want to live can then create an advert within Boomin to advertise the sort of property they are looking for: location, price range, number of bedrooms, bathrooms, school catchment areas, key features etc. If a home seller wants to meet a MatchMaker buyer then the seller asks us to introduce them. MatchMaker sellers are homeowners who are thinking of selling and they make an advert about their home to gauge buyer interest. Homebuyers can browse the MatchMaker seller adverts and can contact the seller by introduction through us again.
We are so happy to see this portal launch and find out what you all think of it. Another exciting development for Yendor Homes and the UK property market as a whole in 2021!
