Current Government guidance on conducting viewings dictates that no speculative viewings should take place at this time. To help reduce the spread of COVID-19 it is important that only clients who are serious about making an offer to let can physically view a property.
Therefore the process for applying will be as follows:
You should complete this application form openly and honestly as possible. During later stages of the verification process, you will be required to evidence the information that you have provided. This will include reference checks from your employer or landlord, as well as a credit search, proof of your address, proof of your income and other background checks.
Should you wish to proceed with your application following your viewing, you will be invited to create a rent passport via canopy (https://www.canopy.rent/renters), who will verify your application. If you are particularly keen on the property, you may request to be invited to canopy before your viewing. This may help to speed up the process and set you ahead of other applicants.
I confirm that the information provided above is true and accurate to my knowledge.
I authorise the agent/landlord to share my information with other agencies, organisations and individuals for the purpose of carrying out credit and reference checks.
I authorise the agent/landlord to fully investigate my application and seek additional information where required.
By submitting the above form, I confirm I agree to all the conditions stated.
